It's been two weeks since my return home. And it's going pretty well. It's been wonderful to catch up with my family and stay up late watching TV with Hal. But boy am I ready to be back in Belton! I love my family but good gosh they need to be medicated. I have never met a group of people with personalities that change so quickly (aka I'm pretty certain they all suffer from bipolar disorder...it does run in the family). I thank the Lord everyday for the invention of college. Less than one month!
Last week we took a family vaca to Washington, DC and Williamsburg, VA. Well four of us went while Hal was on a mission trip in Boston, Mass. I must say VA is so cute and not to mention beautiful. DC on the other hand, I can certainly say I will never go back. Yeah it's good to visit once but twice? No no, too much. For someone who's not the slightest bit interested in history it was a complete borefest! Ok, that's enough venting.

VA was so much fun! Busch Gardens was an absolute blast. The Griffon was the most amazing roller coaster I've ever ridden. Everything about VA was beautiful. There were so many trees, nothing like Dallas. Virginia Beach was a blast. We just walked up and down the beach, watching the waves, taking pictures, and enjoying the magnificent weather. I can positively say I will one day live at the beach. My mom and I did a lot of shopping, and we don't regret it.
It's good to be back home. Now it's time to get ready for school once again. Time to shop for apartment items. Time to shop for new clothes. Time to plan what the apartment will look like. I cannot wait until August 16, only 30 days left.
Until next time.
Live. Laugh. Love.
